Sanchalan (“we”, “our”, “the app”) is a construction and project management application provided to businesses and their authorized users. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, mobile number, email, role and the company you belong to — used to create and secure your login.
- Location data: with your permission, device GPS location when you punch in/out for attendance and for site geofencing. Collected only during attendance and related actions — not continuously in the background beyond what those features require.
- Camera & photos: with your permission, photos you capture or select for site documentation, daily progress reports and profile.
- Usage & device data: app activity, device model and diagnostic logs to keep the app reliable and secure.
2. How we use information
- To provide core features: attendance, projects, daily reports, materials, finance, approvals, HR/payroll.
- To verify identity and secure your account (mobile/OTP login).
- To improve and troubleshoot the app.
3. How information is shared
- Within your organization: your data is visible to authorized users of your company’s account (e.g. admins, managers) as needed for the app’s purpose.
- Service providers: trusted providers for hosting, SMS/OTP delivery and similar infrastructure, who process data only on our behalf.
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We may disclose information if required by law.
4. Data storage & security
Your data is stored on secured servers with industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls). No method is 100% secure, but we work to safeguard your information.
5. Data retention
We retain data while your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal/business obligations. On account closure, data is deleted or anonymized per our retention practices.
6. Your choices
- Control location and camera permissions in your device settings.
- Request access, correction or deletion of your personal data via your organization’s admin or the contact below.
7. Children
The app is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 13.
8. Changes
We may update this policy; material changes will be notified in-app or on this website.
